EXPERIENCE

37 YEARS PRACTICING ARCHITECTURE

20 YEAR IN CENTRAL OREGON

HISTORY

I literally grew up in Architecture. My father was  an Architect.  When I was young we would spend the weekends visiting his projects while they were under construction.

I received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon. After graduation I worked for firms in Breckenridge Colorado,  Seattle Washington, then returned to Denver, Colorado where I became a partner in an Architectural firm. After practicing architecture in Denver, Colorado for 8 years,  I relocated to Bend in 2000 and then in 2004 cofounded GGL Architecture. In 2010 GGL merged with BLRB Architects .  In 2018, I am starting a new chapter in my career.

PROJECT TYPES

In my 35 years of practice, I like to tell potential clients that I have designed a goat barn with a milking parlor and cheese cellar for an artisan cheese maker,  a 7 story, 5 star Hotel, and everything in between. I like to think of myself as a good listener, and now know more about goats than I would have ever imagined.  I have teamed with dedicated developers to create over 300 affordable housing units in Central Oregon, some are the most energy efficient  multifamily developments in the state.
