I grew up building forts and tree houses which lead to a passion for building and architecture. I started a construction business when I was in college and ran it for 4 years. The experience I learned from construction was invaluable to make me a better architect. I started my career in Architecture in Bend back in the mid 80’s but had to move to Portland because the economy in Central Oregon. I moved back in 2001 with my wife and kids to be the project architect on the new Sister’s High School. I worked on numerous projects before co-founding GGL Architecture with Jim Landin. We worked on over 300 projects in Central Oregon before we merged our firm with BLRB Architects in 2010. Jim and I ventured back out together in 2019 to create GL3 Architects. We are excited to for the new venture and creating great architecture again.

I have worked on a large variety of projects types over the last 34 years, from large 400,000 SF R&D facility for Intel, wafer fab’s, Corporate business park, office buildings, over 2,000 multi-family units, condo’s, restaurant’s, retail, Industrial buildings, and many new K12 school and remodels. My construction experience has helped me put together solid construction documents that make it easier, less issue during construction and less costly to construct. Striving to help the client be successful and creating the best project and architecture I can.
